I wanted to make a pendant that would be a holiday statement all on its own. I started by sculpting the 'trunk' from sterling silver square wire. Twenty medium-sized rings and one small ring were soldered together and to the 'trunk' to form the 'branches' and hang loop. Next, I went to work on the red and green Swarovski crystal dangles. I made ball-ended headpins, added the crystals, and attached them to the 'branches.' Special attention was made to position all the jump rings the same direction as well as all the loops on the dangles. I fused and hammered a medium-sized ring to join the ends of the chain and top of the pendant. The entire necklace has been tumble polished to a high shine.
